Pawan Kalyan Birth Name Is Konidela Kalyan Babu
When Pawan Kalyan was born on September 2, 1971 to Anjana devi and Konidela Venkat Rao, they named him as Konidela Kalyan Babu. However, this boy had immense interest in martial arts. During one such event he got the title of “Pawan” symbolizing Hanuman, and from there on he got the name Pawan Kalyan. His fans also call him “Power Star.”
He Is Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Brother
Pawan Kalyan is younger brother of Cheeranjivi and Nagendra Babu. While, Chiranjeevi is the legendary Telugu actor and now also a politician, Nagendra Babu is an actor as well as film producer. In fact, almost all the relatives of Pawan Kalyan are into the Telugu Cinema. His brother-in-law Allu Aravind is also a film producer. The next generation kids Ram Charan Teja (Cheeranjivi’s son), Allu Sirish and Allu Arjun (Allu Aravaind’s son) are Telugu actors as well.

Career in Politics
Pawan Kalyan joined politics last year and founded his own party Jana Sena on March 14th, 2014. He also met the then PM Candidate Narendra Modi of BJP to discuss the issues related to both the Telugu speaking states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Jana Sena has made an alliance with BJP. This obviously distanced the two brothers as Chiranjeevi is a Congress loyalist who merged his party with Congress in 2011. Pawan campaigned for Telugu Desam Party and BJP. His rallies as expected attracted huge crowds both in AP and Telangana.
Personal Life
Pawan Kalyan married thrice. His first wife was Nandini whom he married in 1997 and got separated after 11 years. Then he started dating his co-star Renu Desai and married her in 2009. Before entering the Telugu film industry, Renu was a model. The couple have a son and daughter. However, this marriage too resulted in divorce. Pawan is now married to a Russian actor Anna Lezhneva whom he married in December 2013.
Pawan Kalyan : Philanthropy
In the year 2012, Kalyan donated Rs 5 Lakh to aid Olympic sports shooter Rekha Chalichemala. Then in the year 2013, he reportedly donated Rs. 20 Lakh for the upliftment of those who suffered in the Uttarakhand flood. In October 2014, Pawan Kalyan announced a donation of Rs. 50 Lakh for relief operations post Hudhud cyclone in Andhra Pradesh.
